Welcome to William & Mary's Women's Law Society website! We are an organization at the law school dedicated to providing a network for the women at Marshall-Wythe, serving the unique interests and needs of W&M’s female law students, and promoting public awareness of women’s issues. The organization welcomes and encourages participation from all members of the law school, including students, faculty, staff and alumni.
The primary goal of the Women’s Law Society is to foster awareness of the importance of equal opportunity and treatment in the professional arena. The Women’s Law Society gives its members an opportunity to share their interests, develop their job skills, and expand their understanding of how the law affects women and how women affect the law. We are committed to providing academic mentoring and advice to our younger members, bringing speakers to campus to discuss women's issues, sponsoring fundraising events for local shelters and blood drives, and hosting social networking events with professionals in the community.
